Dave Thatcher

Dave Thatcher has a degree from UMass Lowell with a concentration in accounting. He worked at the Bank of Boston (Trust accounting division) and then moved to New England Business Service supporting finance across the company, including general accounting and accounts payable. He later moved to Colebrook from southern NH in 2012 with three grown children, and enjoys snowmobiling, ATVing, and hunting. He joined the UCVH Board of Directors in 2022 as a result of the Indian Stream Health Center Merger.

Sharon Ellingwood White

Sharon Ellingwood White works for the State of Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation as a Grants Specialist. She was the former Library Director for the Alice M. Ward Memorial Library in Canaan, Vermont. She has also worked at the Colebrook Public Library. She was educated at Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA. Early in her career she served as a Marketing and Communications Representative at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Hampshire. Sharon is on the Board of the Northeast Kingdom Choice School District, serving as well on the Essex North Supervisory Union Board and a licensed competition official with the New England Horsemen's Council. She joined the UCVH Board of Directors in 2020. Committees: Quality Committee (Chair)

Jim Wells is a small business owner in Colebrook, and has extensive knowledge about the excavation industry. He joined the UCVH Board of Directors in 2015. Committees: Capital Improvement Committee, Executive Committee, Finance Committee

Fr. Craig Cheney

Fr. Craig Cheney works as a Roman Catholic Priest and is assigned to the North American Martyrs Parish. He has ministered at three churches: St. Brendan’s in Colebrook, St. Albert’s in Stewartstown, and St. Pius in Errol. He previously worked as a Police Officer, and is a USAF Veteran. He joined the UCVH Board of Directors in 2020.

Robert Dawson, DNP

Dr. Rob Dawson earned his BSN from Norwich University, a Masters of Health Services Administration from Central Michigan, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from MGH Institute of Health Professions. He has served as the President of the NH Association for Vascular Access, and has worked as a Nurse Corps Officer, IV Team Clinical Manager, and Vascular Access Instructor. Currently he works as a Hospitalist at UCVH affiliated with Catholic Medical Center. Committees: Medical Executive Committee (Chair), Credentials Committee

Gail Fisher resides in Canaan, Vermont and was educated at Mount Holyoke College. She has worked for the University of Virginia and Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance, where she retired as the CP of Client Services. She volunteers on the Cannan Community Forest Committee, Zoning Board, and Scottish Terrier Club of New England. She joined the UCVH Board of Directors in 2022 as a result of the Indian Stream Health Center Merger. Committees: Compliance Committee, Quality Committee, Quality Committee

Laura Mills

Laura Mills has been the Nursing Home Administrator at CCNH since 2008, and has also worked there as the Director of Quality, Night Shift Supervisor, RN and LPN. She was educated at NH Community Technical College in Berlin, the University of Phoenix, and holds a certificate promoting best practices in Long Term Care. She is a member of the Gerontological Nursing Association, and the NH Nurses’ Association. She joined the UCVH Board of Directors in 2020. Committees: Compliance Committee

Thomas Mee, RN, BSN, MBA

Tom Mee has more than 30 years of experience in health care administration. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1985 from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, and his Master of Business Administration in Finance in 1990 from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Before joining North Country Healthcare, Tom served as President and Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Greater Lansing in Flint, Michigan, a branch of McLaren Health Care, mid-Michigan’s largest health care system. During his tenure, he was recognized as “Healthcare Leader of the Year in 2017” by the Michigan Hospital Association. Tom also held the positions of Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Operations, and Chief Nursing Officer at McLaren.
